The CrossConnect provides the all-day comfort of an adventure and recreational bike, but with power, durability, and performance features that make for a great commuter bike. This Yamaha Power Assist Bicycle comes standard with components and accessories that maximize versatility, all-day comfort, and functional reliability. The CrossConnect offers the efficiency of a road bike, the ergonomic comfort of a flat handlebar, and Power Assist technology that will significantly increase your range.
At center-stage is a Shimano Sora 9-speed drivetrain (with a double chainring for optimal gear range) connected to Yamaha’s center-mounted PWSeries SE motor, which offers four levels of Power Assist and a max speed support of 20mph. That is mounted to an all-aluminum frame and SR Suntour fork, which includes internal routing for all cables, offering a clean outside and better protection from the elements. The CrossConnect comes equipped with Yamaha’s front/rear fenders and rear rack. Stopping is handled by Shimano M315 hydraulic disc brakes front and rear.
The Triple Speed Sensor, integrated into the rear hub assembly, is another industry leading innovation found on the CrossConnect. This sensor is constantly taking readings of pedaling power, the bike’s rolling speed, and rpms of the pedals to better anticipate in realtime the adjustments needed to Power Assist levels to ensure a seamless, natural feeling ride through the duration of your trip. All this is handled behind the scenes, so you can pay attention to the road ahead.
The tough, ergonomic interface of the Multi-Function Meter displays all the stats you need, such as speeds, battery life, and time, and has an integrated multi-color LED indicator to allow you to see what Power Assist level you are engaged in at a glance. The CrossConnect also comes equipped with a LED Headlight and integrated LED tail light to help keep you safe on the road. To top it off, the Yamaha CrossConnect is one of the lightest bikes in its class at 49.8lbs.

Yamaha 500Wh Battery
Yamaha’s 500 Watt-hour Lithium-ion battery pack provides reliable & long lasting energy to power your rides. When it’s time to replenish, you can charge the battery pack on or off CrossConnect using the Yamaha high speed charger.
Integrated Speed Sensor
Exclusive to Yamaha Power Assist Bicycles is a speed sensor engineered into the rear hub. Our speed sensor recognizes the slightest change in bicycle speed and helps adjust motor input to deliver a smooth and natural power assist feel for the ultimate ride experience.
Hydraulic Disc Brakes
Shimano M315 hydraulic disc brakes with 160mm rotors provide confident stopping power in all conditions.
Suspension Fork
CrossConnect features a Suntour NCX suspension fork to help smooth out your commute, errand or weekend ride.
Rear Rack and Fender
CrossConnect’s rear rack with integrated LED taillight can handle up to 55 lbs. of secured cargo. And the rear fender will help keep you and that cargo looking clean.
Multi-Function Display
The main LCD interface allows you to choose from a full suite of functions; Speedometer, average speed, maximum speed, odometer, trip meter, battery capacity, battery range, cadence, clock and stopwatch. The color-coded LED assist level indicator is easy to see at a glance.
LED Headlight
CrossConnect is equipped with a powerful LED headlight to help brighten your path. The headlight’s on/off button is built into CrossConnect’s multi-function display housing for easy access while riding.
Side Stand
CrossConnect is loaded with features, so we didn’t forget the little things like the convenience of an integrated side stand.
